The planned Railway network will support this Vision. Qatar Rail is a state-owned railway company, responsible for rail transport in Qatar. It is owned and operated by the Government of Qatar. Established in 2011, the company is responsible for the design, construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of the entire rail network and systems and will manage Qatar’s rail network once operational.
